Weigh-in Proof of Capture
Rule 6D - Anglers who enter the TSAF and capture a fish that is potentially over 100% of TSAF Specimen Weight must retain a video record of such fish by mobile phone or digital camera as follows:- Record in one continuous video that the fish has been caught alive, with the location of the capture clearly visible and a witness to capture if available. The TSAF Committee may request that an angler provides such a video record to the Committee.
As per the above rule, it is advised to record a video of any fish you believe to be a potential specimen fish. It rare circumstances, an angler may be asked to provide the video of proof of capture to the committee to verify the capture of the fish. Your video needs to follow the following guidelines:
- 1 continuous video, no cuts or editing
- Show the fish clearly alive to prove it has just been caught
- Pan around to show your location to show you are within the fishing boundaries
- State the anglers name/show yourself in the video
Failure to meet these requirements or failure to provide a video at all IF requested will result in that fish being disqualified.
